Our End of Year Concert will be held on 15th November 2024 at 5:00pm.

ATTENDANCE & PARTICIPATION

All students participate in our End of Year Concert and students work on these routines each week in class, developing their skills in the process and learning the importance of rehearsal, commitment, performance techniques and teamwork.

In terms of attendance, it is very important that students do not miss any of their scheduled classes between now and concert time so they can spend their rehearsal time together to perform their routines, feel confident and look amazing. Of course, this is only if it can’t be helped and in line with studio guidelines. If for any reason your child will miss a number of their regular classes in Term 4, we ask that you contact us via email or BAND to let us know in advance.

If there is any reason why your child will not be able to perform at the concert on the dates and times provided, please let us know so we can make amendments to the class routines involving them.

CONCERT FEE

A concert fee of $80.00 per student will be payable. This will be included in your weekly direct debit starting on Friday 10th October (Week 1). Students who have not paid their concert fee will be unable to perform in the concert.

CONCERT TSHIRT

All students receive a concert t shirt included as part of their performers fee. You can pre-select the size you wish to receive by filling out the form below before Wednesday 8th October. Anyone who has not preselected their shirt size will have their t-shirt assigned based on their age.

CONCERT MEMORABILIA

VIDEOS

We engage the services of a Professional Videographer. All parents will receive a digital download of their dancers show included as a part of your concert performers fee. All parents will be emailed with a link which will enable you to view and download the concert videos at home.


ONSTAGE PHOTOS

We engage the services of a professional photographer to capture onstage photos during the concert. As part of your concert performer’s fee, all families will receive a digital gallery download of their dancer’s onstage moments. After the concert, you will be emailed a link that allows you to view and download the photos at home.

If you have recently changed emails, please drop us an email at [email protected] to ensure we have an up to date email address for you and you don’t miss out.

Concert videos & photos will be emailed out Mid December and will be available for 4 weeks only to download.

STUDIO REHEARSALS

The League Studios

📅 When:

Sunday 2nd November 2025 – 9:00am to 3:00pm

Sunday 9th November 2025 – 9:00am to 12:00pm

What to Wear/Bring:

Normal dancewear (just like a regular class)

All dance shoes needed for routines

Water bottle and snacks

No hair or makeup required

Arrival:
Arrive 15 minutes early so you are ready to start on time.

Students will receive their Concert T-Shirt at the Sunday 9th November rehearsal.


Important Notes

Attendance at both rehearsals is essential for a polished and professional concert performance.

Rehearsals will run efficiently and on time – thank you for your cooperation.

Parents are asked not to stay during rehearsals. Please enjoy the surprise on concert day!

To keep everyone safe, please avoid lingering backstage or in the driveway.

THEATRE TECH REHEARSAL

📅 When:
Wednesday 12th November 2025
4:00pm – 8:00pm

What to Wear/Bring:

Normal dance attire (just like a regular class)

All required dance shoes

Water bottle and light snacks

No hair or makeup required

Arrival:
Arrive 15 minutes early so you are ready to start on time.

THEATRE DRESS REHEARSAL

Brolga Theatre

📅 When:
Thursday 13th November 2025
5:30pm – 8:00pm

What to Wear/Bring:

Full concert costumes (all labelled and organised)

Hair fully done (as per concert day)

No makeup required

All required shoes and accessories

Water bottle and light snacks

Arrival:
Arrive 15 minutes early so you are ready to start on time.


Important Info

This rehearsal is run exactly like the real show

It’s a vital opportunity for dancers to become comfortable with the stage and production elements.

Please treat this rehearsal as the real performance so everything runs smoothly on concert day.

PHOTO DAY

📅 When:
Sunday 23RD November 2025

📍 Where:
The League Studios

We’re thrilled to make this year’s Photo Day extra special!
Each dancer will have both solo and group photos taken to capture these special memories.

Photo Day – Updates & Reminders

1. Getting Ready
Please do not wear your costume to the studio for Photo Day.
Come in a loose button-up dress or top and pants that won’t ruin hair or makeup if you’re wearing any.

2. Changing at the Studio
The big studio will be set up with costume racks for getting changed — please keep the toilets free for those needing to go.
To help with space and child safety, we ask that only one adult per dancer be in the studio to assist with changing.
Mums and grandmas are preferred.

3. Garment Bags
Bring all costumes in your League garment bag — they’re perfect for keeping everything neat and organised.

5. Makeup

Light makeup is fine — a touch of foundation, mascara, and blush if you wish.
Please no red lipstick, to help keep costumes in pristine condition.

6. Final Checklist

Dancers must be in full costume with hair and makeup done before their photo time.

Bring all required shoes and accessories

Photo Purchases
Our photographer will be capturing each class and individual dancer during Photo Day.
Photos will be uploaded to an online gallery for families to view and purchase directly.

Pricing:

$10 per photo

Every 5th photo free

A gallery link and purchase details will be shared once photos are ready.

CONCERT DAY PROCEDURES

🚪 Drop-Off

📍 Where:
Sign-in at the roller door next to the stage door (Brolga Theatre).

⏰ When:
Students must arrive 1 hour before show time.

What happens:

Teachers and helpers will collect each dancer and their bag.

Parents do not enter backstage.

Students are escorted to their allocated area.

Come ready: Hair, makeup, stockings, and first costume must be done before drop-off.


🎒 What to Bring

Pre-Teens, Teens & Seniors:

Arrive in your Concert T-shirt with any bottoms.

Bring a labelled costume bag with all costumes, shoes, and accessories.

Hair & makeup touch-ups.

Water bottle and snacks.

Our team will organise and hang all costumes and belongings backstage.


👋 Pick-Up

At the end of the show, performers will join the catwalk finale in the foyer and receive their concert medal.

Families collect dancers directly from the foyer after the finale.

One parent may go backstage (with staff guidance) to collect their dancer’s bag and belongings.

Please enjoy the foyer for photos with teachers, friends, and family to celebrate!


🔒 Security & Student Safety

All students will be signed in/out on security lists.

Only League Studios staff and registered parent helpers are permitted backstage.

We cannot deliver food/messages during the show — ensure dancers have everything with them.

No valuables or electronic devices. Phones are not permitted backstage or in changing areas.

The studio takes no responsibility for lost/damaged items.


🏥 Medical Conditions

If your dancer has a medical condition or is carrying medication, please notify supervisors at sign-in so we can provide appropriate care.
